I have been a professional animator for over 4 years with my most recent work, “Carrie: Delivery Heroes,” currently screening in South Korean and Chinese cinemas. Using a mix of both Key Animation and MoCap, I've spent the last 18 months working on Feature Film and the 8/10 months prior to that on the related TV show. I was responsible for all layout and animation of entire sequences or characters and creatures, while working closely with the director and the animation supervisor.

I have also done various freelance jobs, that largest of which was working on a short film for Train of Thought Studios, based in London. This project gave me creative freedom while also learning the ins and outs of working within small teams.

I am also a graduate of Animation Mentor, and being the original animation school, they have provided me with a very diverse education. Having been mentored by a variety of elite animators including those from ILM, I have been able to see a whole range of styles and workflows. Over the last 4 years, I have transformed myself from a hobbyist to a professional animator with the skills to animate characters, quadrupeds, and winged creatures in a variety of different styles, and I would be an asset top any team.  Alongside this, I have also had frequent private mentoring sessions with Lead Animator Jean-Denis Haas. With a big focus on creatures and winged animals, I now believe I can tackle any type of shot that is asked of me.

My work ethic and animating ability meant that I was given the opportunity to host weekly “dailies” sessions as an alumnus of the school. Selected from the 50+ graduates, I was able to further hone my skills and simultaneously give back to the school that taught me so much. This passion for animation is something that continues to grow, and I strive to become the best animator I can be. Alongside this, I also create and publish educational YouTube videos on my 3000 subscriber channel, related to Maya and animation, and I frequently enter animation contests, such as the Agora Animation Challenge, so I can continue to learn and grow.

Prior to animating, I was a hobby artist for 6 years, and my interest in animation and short film production has been around a lot longer than that. I have a working knowledge of rigging, texturing, lighting, compositing, and modelling, all self-taught. This has allowed me to understand the full production pipeline with ease. I’m driven, willing to learn, and very eager to take the next step in my animation career.
